Who

Transforming Urban Planning Into Community-Centric Solutions

Urban Answers has successfully facilitated numerous community discussions leading to actionable insights and collaborations that successfully address local urban issues, fostering greater civic involvement and improved quality of life.

Our organization champions participatory planning and ensures diverse voices contribute to projects, enhancing community resilience and inclusivity.

A few Good Projects

Urban Answers grew out of a Design Trust for Public Space Fellowship synthesizing a series of intensive workshops to quickly explored a range of improvements to the streets, sidewalks, subways, and public spaces in Times Square to make the “crossroads of the world” more pedestrian-friendly. A pedestrian-mobility plan emerged to guide Times Square’s transformation.

Urban Answers has since gathered interdisciplinary teams as required to help public, private, grassroots and institutional clients evolve urban spaces and programs to reach their potential. With an unwavering commitment to safety, transparency, data-based analyses and civic engagement, effective communication and clear graphic outputs are a hallmark of this work.

Our Mission
